All Year Indoor Marketplace & Swapmeet

Currently building

The plan is to Open a Year Round indoor Community Marketplace

We are currently in the stages of obtaining city approval for zoning and collaborating with property owners to secure access to one of the buildings. The next steps involve communicating with potential vendors interested in having a booth and organizing a soft opening. Following this, we will construct the walls for most of the booths and commence the development of the event hall and print-and-ship shop.

A key feature of our venue will be a consignment store within the building. This store will allow vendors to tag and price their goods through the venue. This setup provides an opportunity for those who cannot afford the upfront cost of a booth to still showcase their products. Instead of charging booth rental fees, we will take a percentage of each sale. This model ensures that everyone has a chance to participate and benefit from the swap meet.

In addition to the consignment store, we will offer two types of booths: permanent and weekend booths. Permanent booths are designed for vendors who want a manned, ongoing presence, similar to the Anaheim indoor flea market. These booths will provide a stable and continuous opportunity for vendors to engage with customers. On the other hand, weekend booths are available for vendors who want to try selling for a day or two. This option allows them to test the market and see what they can sell without a long-term commitment.

Another integral part of our plan is to have a hall that can accommodate 100-150 people for small events, talks, and meets. This versatile space can also be used by vendors for product launches, providing a platform for them to showcase new products and engage with their audience in a more interactive setting.

The consignment store, permanent booths, weekend booths, and event hall collectively aim to create a dynamic and inclusive marketplace. We are currently in the planning phase, and this post is intended to gauge interest and gather feedback. Your participation and input are crucial in shaping the development of this year-round indoor swap meet, making it a vibrant and sustainable community hub.

Year-Round Operation

Unlike seasonal or occasional flea markets, these swap meets are open throughout the year, often on weekends or specific days of the week.

Indoor Setting

Being indoors means the swap meet is not affected by weather conditions, providing a comfortable shopping experience for customers and stable operating conditions for vendors.

Diverse Vendors

A wide array of vendors offer different types of merchandise, creating a diverse shopping environment. This can include individual sellers, small businesses, and sometimes even larger commercial retailers.

Community Focus

These swap meets often serve as community hubs where people can find unique items, enjoy social interactions, and sometimes even find local services or food options.

Affordability

Items sold at swap meets are often priced lower than those in traditional retail stores, attracting bargain hunters and those looking for unique finds.

Top-rated Vendors

An indoor year-round marketplace typically held inside a large building where vendors rent booths or spaces to sell a variety of goods. These goods can range from new items to second-hand products, antiques, collectibles, crafts, food, and more.
